As the USA Headquarters for Hayashi-Ha Shitoryu Kai Karate, the Minakami Dojo oversees all Hayashi-Ha operations within the United States. We are currently not accepting new students. Instead, the Minakami Dojo focuses on advanced training for black belts and future instructors. Our training emphasizes true, traditional karate. 

In addition to benefiting from Minakami O’Sensei’s mastery of karate (9th-Dan, Hayashi-Ha Shitoryu Kai), our training is infused with Minakami O’Sensei’s deep expertise in budo at large (5th-Dan, Chinen Yamanni Ryu Bojutsu, under Ryukyu Bujutsu Kenkyu Doyukai; 3rd-Dan, Kendo; 1st-Dan, Judo).
